I am selling my 99 Estoril Blue coupe non-sunroof track car. I spent almost a year looking for the right candidate and finally bought this car in March of 2012 with 90k on the odometer. I purchased it off craigslist with an R-title due to a battery fire. Currently the car has ~121k on the original untouched stock internal motor. I’ve never had an issue with the car, be it mechanical or otherwise, since I’ve owned it. Always arrive and drive at the track, usually pulling a trailer full of tires behind me. Only time I used a trailer was to get to VIR and Road Atlanta because it was a 10+ hour drive.
Regular maintenance performed as you would expect for a track car like this. Oil changed regularly with M1 15w-50, Redline D4 ATF in transmission and either Redline 75w/90 or 75w/140 in rear diff depending on ambient temps of the track I would be running.

The only contact the car had happened this past July @ LRP when I went too fast on the downhill and slid it into the outside wall. The damage wasn’t too bad and I was still able to drive the car back home 200 miles to PA while pulling my tire trailer. I had the car professionally repaired at LIP Collision, but you can still see the aftermath in the right rear quarter panel. After the LRP incident, I went ahead replaced everything in the rear. New oem wheel bearings, new OEM hubs, rear trailing arms, new AKG RTA bushings, lower control arms, OEM LCA bushings, upper control arms, OEM UCA bushings, new HD ball joints, axles & wheel studs. Basically anything that could have potentially been damaged in the off was replaced. It has won the regional Northeast Championship in 2013 and 2014 and most recently in September the East Coast Nationals in 2015 @ VIR. In TTD trim it runs a restricted 210whp and 3215# comp weight including 120# of ballast. Uncorked, its around 225whp (depending on the dyno), with the only power mods mentioned above; cone intake, M50 manifold and TRM tune. Everything else is stock. The car still has radio, AC, cruise control, full stock exhaust w/cats.
The car currently holds 10 track records all over the east coast in TTD trim and a couple in TTB and TT3.
Currently held TTD Track Records:
NJMP Thunderbolt – 1:30.5
NJMP Lightning – 1:15.0
Watkins Glen – 2:13.8
Thompson – 1:20.9
Palmer Motorsports Park – 1:48.9
Lime Rock Park – 1:00.9
VIR – 2:09.4
Summit Main – 1:22.8
Pocono CCW – 1:38.3
Pocono CW – 1:40.8
Currently held track records outside of TTD
TT3 @ Palmer Motorsports Park – 1:47.2
TTB @ NJMP w/chicane – 1:33.0
My asking price is $15k. This is a highly competitive turn-key race car, purpose built with the NASA rule book in mind. Now that it has a cage it can easily be taken w2w racing and be just as competitive there. I’ve done many more things over the years to optimize the cars performance. It has served me very well for the last few years and I have no reason to believe it won’t server its new owner just as well. If you have specific questions about build, setup or anything else feel free to email me @ [email protected].
Not interested in any trades. Reason for sale is to make room for a new project.
